I am a business creator, builder, visionary, and a startup entrepreneur. I have been building and growing businesses for over 10 years. To date, I have co-founded two successful projects in the DeFi space. One of the startups I founded recently raised over 40 million in seed funding. Another project is now doing a successful private token sale. All of my recent startups were founded during the COVID19 crisis and all three successfully raised funds for both pre-seed and seed rounds. All of these businesses I co-founded and ran completely remotely.
Prior to this I was a Chief Development Officer of a major marketing and blockchain development agency, ICODA (giving me a deep experience and knowledge in the blockchain sector), and before this, a Client Development Manager for Winchester Interconnect, a multinational interconnect-manufacturing company in the USA. As part of my work at Winchester, I was developing sales leads and opportunities by working with the most famous high-tech companies in the world including: Siemens, Tesla, Google, Uber, and Amazon. This has given me a deep understanding into the necessities of the modern high-tech world.

I created Spherium and co-founded it with my former business partners from the BTCD Ltd agency and incubator in London, UK. Spherium has since incorporated in Singapore, and has completed successful pre-seed and seed raises. The seed raise raised over 3 million USD, while the IEO raised an additional $37 million. My activities within Spherium during my time with this project included: Ideation, recruitment and management of the fully remote and cross-functional teams (including the Supervisory Board which later became the Advisory Board, and which included in its some of the most prominent members of the Crypto and finance communities, as well as the entire current executive team of the project), social media management and community development, directing of the marketing, content, and branding teams, successful direction of the pre-seed funding round, and generation of organic PR and buzz leading to the establishment of the Spherium brand. Due to my interest in Islamic finance and the birth of Amanah DeFi within Spherium (Ananah being a fork of Spherium) I moved on from the Spherium project to co-found the Amanah DeFi project.
2020 - 2021
First incubated in the Startup Incubator I founded, BTCD Ltd as Amanah DeFi (amanahdefi.com), Amanah DeFi began as a fork of the Spherium Finance project. Later rebranded as Marhaba DeFi, its purpose is to bring Shariah ethics to the DeFi ecosystem by providing a trustworthy and transparent DeFi system for both the Muslim and the Western cultures, in order to help them benefit from the marriage of DeFi innovation and the ethical practices found in Islamic Finance. My activities here included: team recruiting, idea creation, organic PR buzz creation, social media marketing and management, team management, growth generation, and successful pre-seed fundraising.
2020 - 2021
Co-founded this marketing agency and incubator in the UK. Here are our specialties: community management, marketing, video creation, platform development, pitch deck and white paper creation, foreign language translation and marketing, tokenomics, market making, exchange listing, market share growth, team recruitment. To date, I have successfully co-founded two projects in BTCD, Spherium Finance and Marhaba DeFi.
2019 - 2020
Created and headed the Client Acquisition program within the company. Expanded the company\'s market share through the generation of outbound leads in such areas as: market making, business development/lead generation, marketing, and back end. Created the Business Affiliate program to facilitate lead generation and increase market share. Onboarded new agents.
