This is my ten years of producing, reporting and anchoring multiple media contents with major impacts as a development Journalist in Covid-19, fact-checking, gender and diversity reporting. In my current position as a Team Manager for Social Media & Digital Journalism for the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, I research interview, write and produce impactful news content.
I am highly investigative and curious always looking to find the most unique or pertinent angle to a story. I am organized with an easy communication style that makes me a top-notch interviewer. I have a concise conversational writing style and can put together a piece quickly and efficiently with no errors. At the present, I am a content creator for Mozart Cultures, United States Department. A non-profit organization which’s main aim is to spread high-quality content to more than 130.000 followers and readers all around the world. I have written on the intersection of Blockchain and the media, pop culture and its impact on media.
I was part of the team that developed advocacy and communications strategies for Nkata Umu ibe, a project of Centre for Memories which generated over 3 million impressions on Twitter every first Friday of the month. I also collaborated, developed and strategized tactical communications for a project by Market March in partnership with iServe2050. The campaign hit 1,463, 163 accounts and generated over 1 million impressions on Twitter.
I was also a part of the team that amplified the COVID 19 advocacy on twitter for the Society of Igbo Professionals in May 2020, specifically; I was the social media handler, Communication analyst and also provided technical leadership during the tweetathon. In the end, we engaged over 1.8 million accounts in 24 hours.
I have spearheaded digital campaigns for Youth Global Platform Egypt, African Rising Uganda, Startup South4 and on different issues like #Pressforsuicideprevention, #beatncdsmoviehangout #ppsmb #sdgschampion #tech4sdgs #startupsouth4 #yalienugu.
