Senior Institutional Sales Manager

We are searching for a Senior Institutional Sales Manager to join our team, with a key focus to expand and generate new businesses, focused on institutional clients across the globe. You will strategically approach target companies to discuss business opportunities, identify strategies and opportunities and spearhead new investment and trading ideas for our clients. Although you strive to meet and exceed target, you will always act in the best interest of the client.


  1. To act independently and take ownership of driving all types of sales efforts for the Altonomy’s full suite of trading and asset management products and services across the desired products and asset classes, including client acquisition and retention, business development and lead generation, conversation opening, onboarding, post-sales client services, cross-sales, repurchase and strategic partnerships
  2. To understand Client’s business needs and objectives by conducting thorough research, understanding Client’s buying motivators, decision criteria, investment propensity before pitching the Company’s competitive product/positioning to cater to Client’s requirements and win investment mandates
  3. To develop new institutional prospects globally across Asia Pacific and the United States
  4. To maintain existing portfolio of partners including but not limited to blockchain companies, crypto exchanges, and institutional investors
  5. To keep track of client activities and stay updated with clients’ trading interest and risk appetite to devise tailored client engagement strategies and produce market intelligence report
  6. Applies business acumen in planning by considering macro and micro factors, with a focus on Client’s needs
  7. Develop sales pipelines to exceed sales target
  8. To work closely with trading teams and look out for new market trends, adhoc trading opportunities and to come up with investment and trading ideas
  9. To generate marketing and PR content and other marketing efforts to constantly improve brand awareness in the region
  10. To adhere to compliance protocol at all times


  1. 5-10 years of applicable trading experience in the Financial sector
  2. BS / BA degree
  3. Prior working experience in trading and institutional client services is mandatory
  4. Prior working experience in crypto advisory and/or investment is a plus


  1. Highly self-driven, resourceful and organized individual
  2. Ability to think critically and act independently is highly desirable
  3. Native in English and multilingual ability is highly desirable
  4. Possesses good leadership and team management skills
  5. Ability to manage a large number of prospect situations simultaneously while positioning Company products/positioning against competitors
  6. Proficiency of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and G-suite equivalent is a plus
  7. Possesses strong finance and product knowledge
  8. Has good knowledge of margin and derivatives
  9. Interest in and good understanding of both traditional finance and cryptocurrency markets
