Team & Role Description:

Bitso is working to become a global company. These past 6 years, we’ve worked on building amazing products that are easy to use and growing while we did that. Now, we want to focus on growing at a faster rate and taking the company to the next level. The person in this position will be a key player to achieve this by contributing to the marketing strategies as a social media innovative communicator and creative storyteller. This role will help define and execute strategies to develop our brand online, grow our social media channels, increase content reach and engagement and be the brand voice on all social media channels.

The ideal candidate must have knowledge of brand marketing as well as social media and marketing.


  • Help build brand awareness and community engagement
  • Stay informed on crypto and financial trends
  • Help marketing team in other relevant efforts and day to day activities
  • Help community team develop social media strategies
  • You’ll be in charge of content creation, social media posts, strategy, and execution.
  • Generate ideas for new campaigns
  • Produce reports
  • Responsible for increasing the share of voice in our social media channels, especially Youtube.

To succeed in this role you’ll need:

  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics, and to utilize those metrics to develop communication strategies
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
  • Hands-on experience with brand management through social media
  • Able to work self-sufficiently, remotely in a startup environment
  • Excellent marketing and community strategy skills with proven expertise
  • 1-2+ years’ social media marketing experience / Creative Content writing / professional advertising for an agency or in a marketing environment, preferably in a creative role.
  • Strong abilities on social platforms, popular listening tools, and industry-standard publishing tools.
  • Passionate about social media tools and up to date with best practices.
  • Crypto intermediate knowledge

Additionally, it would be nice if you:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent language skills in Spanish and English, Portuguese is a plus
  • Experience working at a digital advertising agency is a plus
  • English native is a plus
  • Copywriting experience
  • Knowledge in the influencer marketing spaces.
  • Knowledge of crypto space
