  •    Responsibilities & Qualifications:   Key responsibilities
    • Responsible for month-end closing activities, including prepayments, accruals, reconciliations and consolidation; 
    • Prepare monthly accounting schedules for key balance sheet items, which may include, but not limited to, Investments, Intangible Assets, Payables and Accruals, and Equity;
    • Audit coordination and liaison with external auditors;  
    • Assist in the preparation of audited financial statements with notes disclosure;
    • Ensure internal controls over financial reporting are established and adhered to, identify opportunities for improvements;   
    • Closely monitor monthly cash flow movements and advise the Financial Controller of any need for intercompany funding or cash replenishment;
    • Handle ad-hoc bank payments and inter-company fund transfers; 
    • Assist the Financial Controller with ad-hoc assignments as needed
  • Experience and qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
    • ACCA/CPA designation or equivalent required with minimum two years post qualification experience.
    • Pre-IPO experience is strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrate ability to adjust to a fast-growing and dynamic start-up environment. Must be willing to take on new challenges and be adaptive to a fast-paced work environment where new business initiatives are frequently introduced.
    • Detail-oriented with ability to work under pressure and tight schedules with great attitude.
    • Excellent English communication skills both written and spoken.
    • Strong MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS office applications.
    • Experience working with Workday Finance preferred.
    • Ability to work both as a team member and independently.
    • Demonstrate flexibility in providing support to the wider Group Finance team when needed.
    • Demonstrate ability to collaborate across distances and organizational boundaries. Able to work effectively with people from varied professional disciplines and culture.
    • Able to work in a fluid, changing environments that may be ambiguous and evolving.
    • Strong interest in, and curiosity for, blockchain, business building, fintech, financial, and social media markets.
    • An understanding of how start-ups work and an agile mindset.
